The new Terminal 2 will be a state-of-the-art facility approximately twice the size of the new terminal at Cork Airport. Work is scheduled to begin on-site in mid-2007 with a completion date set for late 2009.
The design consultants will present three different concepts to the DAA board balancing cost effectiveness with the opportunity to create a signature iconic building. The Dublin Airport Authority board will make the final decision on the new terminal design.
