More than 330,000 passengers are expected through Dublin Airport over the course of this St. Patrick's weekend from Friday 16th - Monday 18th March, 2007.
Over 2,100 flights will arrive and depart during this time including more than 200 charter flights to Winter sun and skiing destinations. Also included are 16 charter flights departing this Friday 16th to Italy for Ireland's final 6 Nations Rugby match.
Passengers are strongly urged to familiarise themselves with the EU Security Regulations regarding liquids BEFORE coming to the airport. Details of these regulations can be found on www.dublinairport.com.
Once again passengers are reminded to remove all sharp objects from hand luggage and pack into check in luggage.
Additional Dublin Airport customer care staff will be working throughout the terminal building during the weekend. Dressed in pink polo shirts they are there to help smooth the way for passengers travelling through the departures concourse, at the security screening area and in helping to manage airline queues at check-in desks.
