More than 330,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport over the course of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 6th - Monday 9th April, 2007 a 9% increase over the same period last year.
More than 2,080 flights will arrive and depart during this time including 120
charters for holiday-makers in search of sun over the Easter holidays. The
most popular sun destinations this weekend are Las Palmas, Lanzarote, Faro and
mainland Spain.
Passengers are advised to arrive at check-in at
least 90 minutes before their flight departure time.
Dublin
Airport would like to remind passengers about the EU Aviation Security
regulations concerning liquids. Passengers are urge to check the details
of these regulations on www.dublinairport.com BEFORE setting out
on their journey to the airport.
Once again passengers are reminded to remove all sharp objects from hand luggage. These objects should be packed into checked in luggage, in addition, all laptop computers must be removed from their outer casing for security screening.
Dublin Airport will have Customer Care teams on duty this bank holiday weekend. Dressed in bright pink polo they are there to assist passengers through the terminal building.
