At The Airport

Important Information For Passengers With Reduced Mobility

The two lifts connecting the Shopping Street (retail area beyond the passenger security screening area) with the airside mezzanine food area are being replaced.

DAA have examined a number of options in order to keep one lift operational, however for health and safety reasons it is impossible to phase the replacement of these lifts and therefore, unfortunately, both lifts must be taken out of service at the same time. This will result in no lift access to the Nude or Brasserie food areas for approximately four months.  The lifts will be withdrawn from service from next Monday February 11th and will remain out of service until June 20th.

This is important information for all passengers, in particular passengers with reduced mobility. There will still be access to the area via the existing escalators and stairs. There are also other food outlets in the vicinity of the Shopping Street such as Butlers Café, Bagel Factory located in the Bailey Bar, Café Ritazza and O'Brien's Sandwich Bar in Pier C, the Corner Café selling hot food in Pier B and a variety of food and beverage outlets in Pier A.

The Dublin Airport Authority sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of this essential maintenance and replacement work.
