At The Airport

Easter Bank Holiday at Dublin Airport

More than 250,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport over the course of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend from Friday, 10 April to Monday, 13 April.

More than 1,800 flights will arrive and depart during this time including 50 charter flights for holiday-makers in search of sun over the Easter holidays. The most popular sun destinations this weekend are Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Las Palmas.

Passengers are advised to arrive at their check-in desk at least 90 minutes before their flight departure time.

Passengers who have checked in on-line are advised to arrive in the terminal building in plenty of time in order to clear the passenger security screening process and bear in mind that they may have a 10 minute walk to their boarding gate.

Dublin Airport would also like to remind passengers about the EU Aviation Security regulations concerning liquids.  Passengers are urged to check the details of these regulations on www.dublinairport.com BEFORE setting out on their journey to the Airport.

Once again, passengers are reminded to remove all sharp objects from hand luggage. These objects should be packed into checked-in luggage. In addition, all laptop computers must be removed from their outer casing for security screening.

Dublin Airport will have Customer Care teams on duty this bank holiday weekend. Dressed in bright pink polo shirts, they are there to assist passengers through the terminal building.
