Dublin Airport Authority will host a 'Healthy Flying' event, today at Dublin Airport.
The event, launched by TV presenter of 'No Frontiers' Kathryn Thomas, will feature advice to passengers on a healthy approach to flying by aviation health expert Mr Farrol Kahn who has written several books on aviation health and medication. During the event Farroll will detail the antioxidant benefits of certain foods and beverages in preparation for long and short haul flights and also products now available in Travel Value at Dublin Airport to help combat jet lag and dehydration, such as an oxygen supplement and 'security feel better' drink.
"The campaign of Healthy Flying at Dublin Airport," says Farrol Kahn Director of the non-profit Aviation Health, "for the first time offers passengers a variety of stress-busting foods and drinks, energy boosting foods and drinks and the knowledge of how to arrive in better shape. What's amazing is that everything can be done at the last minute at the airport."
"Flying is an unusual form of transport from cars, trains or buses requiring special foods, drinks and products to improve the travel environment. At Dublin Airport for the next month, you can benefit from an amazing range of foods, drinks and products that will make your trip more comfortable and memorable and will enable you to arrive at your destination in better shape," said Farrol
Following the launch, information on these health tips will be made
available to passengers travelling through Dublin Airport until 15th June.
