Dublin Airport Authority has updated the car parking booking system to allow
online car park customers to amend or cancel their booking any time up to
2 hours prior to their due arrival time. This new addition to our online car
park booking service was introduced in order facilitate customers who wish to
cancel or change their booking especially in unforeseen situations such as
flight cancellations due to a closure of airspace resulting from the volcanic
ash cloud.
During this difficult period for passengers, DAA also issued car
park refunds to customers whose flights were cancelled irrespective whether or
not it was within the 12 hour period and refunded costs to passengers whose
parking had exceeded their original booking due to being stranded abroad.
