Dublin Airport won the award for best Tourism Products
and Services category at the Dublin Tourism Enterprise Awards
recently. The awards, presented by the Lord Mayor of
Dublin, Councillor Vincent Jackson and Dublin Tourism CEO, Frank Magee recognise
businesses who, through their standards of excellence, innovation and
professionalism, have contributed to the ongoing success of tourism in Dublin in
the past year.
The best Tourism Products and Services award was
presented to the DAA in recognition of the operational improvements and
initiatives and for enhancing and greatly improving the visitor experience at
the airport.
Commenting on the award, Dublin Airport Director,
Robert Hilliard said "We are truly delighted to receive an award that recognises
Dublin Airport's contribution to improve the passenger experience during a
particularly challenging year for the airport. I am particularly
pleased and proud that all our efforts have been formally acknowledged and
recognised by our peers in the travel and tourism
industry."
