At The Airport

Important Information For Car Park Customers

Car Parking has been given a face-lift at Dublin Airport following a significant investment to improve, upgrade and refurbish all car parks for customer use.

All of the short-term car parks adjacent to the terminal now have entry and exit lanes within the car park. This means there are now 5 separate short-term car parks (Block A, Block B, Block C, Surface Car Park & Coach Park).

In all, 19 new pay stations have been put in place giving customers the option to pay by Cash, Credit Card or Laser Card.

Customers paying by cash:

Customers paying by cash MUST settle their car parking charges at a Pay Station before reaching the car park barrier. There is no longer a facility to pay a cashier on exiting the car parks.

Pay Stations are located as follows
In front of the Car Park Atrium Building (6)
At the rear of the Car Park Atrium Building (3)
On level 2 in the Car Park Atrium Building (1)
On level 3 in the Car Park Atrium Building (2)
Block C level 1 Lift lobby (1)
Coach / Surface Car Park (1)
Long Term Red Car Park (2)

Car Park staff can be contacted for assistance at any Barrier or Pay Station by pressing the i button.

Customers paying by Credit Card or Laser Card have three options:

1. To take a ticket at Entry and pay for this ticket with your card at any Pay Station.
2. To take a ticket at Entry and pay for this ticket by inserting your card at the Exit barrier.
3. To insert your Credit or Laser card in the Entry barrier and the same card in the Exit barrier when leaving.

Further upgrading works include a 14 bay coach park together with an overflow facility for 12 coaches and 6 spaces are available to accommodate mini-busses.

Work is continuing on the provision of a licence plate recognition facility; an important component to enable customers reserve car parking spaces on-line before coming to the airport.   Licence plate recognition is also a useful addition in enhancing and complimenting the car park security systems.

The facility to pre-book on-line will be available to customers soon.

Customers with reduced mobility:

More than 50 spaces have been designated for customers with reduced mobility in the lower ground of Block A and B.  These spaces are well signed and have been marked out to the recommended width to accommodate wheelchairs.  In addition each space has been treated with a special non slip surface to provide easy movement and access for customers.
