A major change is taking place to the traffic flow
within the airport grounds. From Monday 29th January, airport users
will notice that new traffic lights have been installed at the airport exit
roundabout. This roundabout facilitates vehicles coming from the
Departures Road, buses and taxis from the Arrivals Road, customers exiting the
multi-storey car park and staff exiting SR Technics hangar
area.
The new signalling system will
be monitored to ensure the traffic flow works as efficiently as possible.
The changes are being made to optimise the road network capacity within the
airport campus and to improve pedestrian safety.
