If an item has been lost on-board an aircraft, you must contact the airline directly. If an item has been lost within the airport it may be handed into the Airport Police public office on the arrival level of Terminal 1, please click here for further information.

How can I arrange wheelchair assistance?

We would advise that passengers check with their individual airline before departure, as the rules vary between airlines.

Can I smoke past the security point in Dublin Airport?

There is one designated smoking area at The Garden Terrace bar in Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport.

It very much depends on the airline and which country you are travelling to/from. For further information contact your airline and Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine

How can I get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, are they linked?

Yes they are. There is a link bridge from the departures level in T1 (beside the security screening point) to the arrivals level in T2. There is also a link corridor once you have gone airside (past security screening).

Where are the lounges located?

The lounges are located in Terminal 1immediately after security, and in Terminal 2, adjacent to the 400 gates. For more information click here.

Are there post facilities in Dublin Airport?

There is a self-service An Post kiosk on the departures level of Terminal 1 and on the arrivals level of Terminal 2.

Yes, there are courtesy telephones located throughout the terminal building which go directly to the information centre.

We do not operate a public paging facility at Dublin Airport.

Can I have my luggage wrapped?

Yes, ExcessBaggage.ie are based on the Departures level Terminal 1 opposite check-in area 8. Opening hours are 05.00 – 17.00 daily.

How do I find out which terminal my flight is departing from/arriving into?

How long before my flight departs should I be at the airport?

We would advise that you check with your airline as this can vary depending on airline and destination, daa advise that passengers arrive no less than 90 minutes before departure.

I’m at the airport and need to contact my airline about a lost bag, how can I do this?

There are baggage enquiry phones located on the arrivals level of both terminals.

I want to leave an item for collection at the airport, is this possible?

Yes, items can be left with Greencaps

Is there assistance available for families or groups travelling with a lot of luggage?

Can I go through the security area if I’m not travelling?

No, the only people permitted through the security screening area are those with a valid boarding card intending to travel.

Where is the Tax Back desk at the airport?

Tax Back is located in the shopping area of Terminal 2. There are forms and post boxes available at the 300 gates area.

Can I bring my dog to the airport?

The only dogs that are permitted in the terminal buildings are guide dogs and assistance dogs.

Can I pay for the M50 Toll in Dublin Airport?

The toll fee can be paid in Spar, Wrights Food Fare and Greencaps.

Is there a viewing area to see planes?

There is no specific area to view aircraft; however, the Alcock & Brown bar on the mezzanine level of Terminal 1 offers views onto the airfield.

Are there shower facilities available?

Showering facilities are available in the T2 Executive Lounge.

Are there hotels at Dublin Airport?

Yes, there are two hotels on campus, the Radisson and the Clarion. There are also hotels in close proximity to Dublin Airport with shuttle bus services available.

Can I take baby milk though security?

Yes, you can take baby milk through in the quantities needed for your trip.

Can I take liquid medication/needles/syringes through security?

Yes, we would request that the medication be accompanied by a doctor’s letter.

Is there a luggage storage facility at Dublin Airport?

A left luggage facility is available in the Car Park Atrium, directly across the road from the Terminal, for short and long term storage of luggage. The facility is open from 06.00 to 23.00 daily and rates vary depending on the size of baggage.

A car key holding facility exists for passengers, at a charge of €3.75, with Greencaps, in the Short Term Car Park Atrium. The keys must be collected by the person nominated to do so. This person must have photographic identification when collecting the keys. Those leaving keys must also provide a reference of where their car is parked.
