T2 Wins Twice At LAMA Awards

Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 picked up two awards at the Local Authority Members Association (LAMA) Awards last Saturday.
Terminal 2 won the National Impact Award and was also named Best Commercial Building. T2, which celebrated its first birthday last November, has won nine different awards over the past 12 months.
The LAMA Awards recognise significant projects throughout the country and to be short-listed for an award a project has to be nominated by a local councillor or council.
Terminal 2 was nominated for both awards by Dublin City Council and Dublin’s Lord Mayor, Andrew Montague, was in attendance as T2 received the awards.
“Winning these two awards is another major achievement for Terminal 2,” said DAA’s Chief Asset Management and Development Officer, Colm Moran.
“We are particularly pleased to have won the National Impact Award, as it underscores T2’s position as a crucially important element of national infrastructure.”
