Dublin Airport Welcomes New Chisinau Service

Dublin Airport welcomes today’s launch by Air Moldova of a new weekly summer service from Dublin to the Moldovan capital Chisinau.

Air Moldova will operate the service every Tuesday until September 4 with an Airbus A320 aircraft. Flight 9U863 will depart Chisinau at 5.25 and arrive in Dublin at 9.10 while the return service 9U864 departs Dublin at 10.15 and arrives at Chisinau at 17.35. Both flights operate via Frankfurt.

Dublin Airport Authority’s (DAA) Head of Market Intelligence, Mark Evenden said the route would help stimulate additional travel between the Ireland and Moldova for both business and leisure.

Air Moldova’s Head of Marketing, Ghenadie Celac, said the airline was very grateful to DAA for the assistance that it had received in establishing the new summer service.
