1.3 Million Passengers In November At Dublin Airport

Passenger numbers at Dublin Airport exceeded 1.3 million in November, a 5% increase on the same month last year.
Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe grew by 4% with more than 600,000 people travelling to European destinations during the month.
UK traffic recorded a 1% increase with over 560,000 passengers travelling to and from Britain in November.
Transatlantic volumes increased by 11% with almost 117,000 passengers travelling to and from North America during the month.
Other international passenger traffic, which includes flights to the Middle East, increased by 91% with almost 39,000 passengers travelling this route sector in November.
Passenger numbers on domestic flights declined by 3% with just over 4,000 travelling on domestic routes during the month.
Just over 17.8 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport from January to November this year, an increase of 2% over 2011.
