Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) is offering free Guided Tours of the airport's Old Terminal Building as part of this year’s Open House Dublin architectural festival.
The old terminal, designed by a team of architects led by Desmond FitzGerald and completed in 1940, is not normally open to the public. However on Saturday, October 5, DAA staff will give four guided tours of the terminal building as part of Open House.
Tickets for the guided tours are ONLY available via Open House, which has instituted a lottery system, given the expected demand for places.
To register for your chance of winning a ticket for the tour, please click here to visit the Open House website, or telephone the Open House information centre on 085 785 7829 or 085 785 7801 (Mon-Fri, 12:00-16:00). Registration for the ticket lottery is now open and closes on September 20.
In total, 100 buildings will be open to the public within Open House Dublin, which runs from October 4-6.
