More than 1.3 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in November

Passenger throughput at Dublin Airport exceeded 1.3
million for the month of November, a 12% decline on the same period last year,
according to the Dublin Airport Authority.
Passenger volumes to
and from continental Europe fell by 12% with more than 600,000 passengers
travelling on these routes last month.
UK traffic recorded a 10%
decrease with just under 600,000 passengers travelling in
November.
Passenger numbers on domestic routes declined by 36% with
almost 44,000 passengers taking domestic flights last month. Transatlantic
traffic to North America fell by 12% with almost 109,000 passengers travelling
on this route sector in November.
Other international passenger
traffic, principally flights to the Middle East, totaled 15,000 last month, down
7% on last year.
Year-to-date more than 19 million passengers
have travelled through Dublin Airport, a 13% decline over the same period
last year.
