Dublin Airport Welcomes New Aer Lingus Routes for 2011
Dublin Airport welcomes Aer Lingus’ announcement today (December 16) to commence direct flights from Dublin Airport to Izmir, Perpignan and Stuttgart from next spring.
This announcement further strengthens the network and choice of routes and services for passengers flying to and from Dublin Airport.
“We welcome Aer Lingus’ announcement to add new routes to Turkey, France, and Germany from next spring,” said Dublin Airport spokesperson Siobhan Moore. “These services are likely to be popular with both Irish people travelling abroad and incoming visitors to Ireland.”
The news of the Aer Lingus expansion comes just two days after the announcement by Aer Lingus Regional, a joint venture between Aer Lingus and Aer Arann, to launch new services from Dublin to Bristol and to Aberdeen in March 2011.
All the new Aer Lingus routes begin in late March, apart from Izmir, which starts in early May.
