1.2 Million Passengers In November At Dublin Airport

Passenger numbers at Dublin Airport exceeded 1.2 million in November, a 3% decline on the same month last year.
Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe remained level with almost 580,000 people travelling to European destinations during the month.
UK traffic recorded a 5% decline with over 550,000 passengers travelling to and from Britain in November.
Transatlantic volumes were down by 1% with more than 104,000 passengers travelling to and from North America during the month.
Other international passenger traffic, which includes flights to the Middle East, increased by 11% with more than 20,000 passengers travelling this route sector in November.
Passenger numbers on domestic flights declined by 80% with just over 4,000 people travelling on domestic routes during the month.
Just over 17.5 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport from January to November this year, an increase of 1% over 2010. International traffic has increased by 3% in the first 11 months of the year.
