What is the pre-order currency service?

The pre-order currency is designed for ease and convenience: You go online and select the currency that you wish to pre-order, state the euro equivalent sum, enter your personal details and nominate a collection point. On the date of departure, present your unique booking reference number at the nominated collection point – your pre-order currency will be waiting for you.

Is there a charge for the ICE pre-order currency service? What rate of currency exchange will I receive?

There is no commission charge for the ICE pre-order currency service. You will receive the currency rate of exchange prevailing on the day the transaction is completed.

Do I need a credit card to pre-order currency? How do I pay for my pre-order currency?

No. You can pre-order currency via either the internet order form or by telephone. The transaction will be completed at the nominated collection point; Payment methods are by cash or credit card.

Where can I collect my pre-order currency?

At the location nominated on the order form. Locations include: Terminal 1 Landside Departures (Area 3); Terminal 1 Airside Pier D (Gate 100); Terminal 2 Landside check in; Terminal 2 Airside Departures.

What’s the maximum amount of currency I can pre-order?

There is no maximum amount you can pre-order. However amounts over €7,000 require proof of address and a valid identification must be provided when you are collecting your order.

How far in advance can I order?

You can preorder currency 60 days before your departure date.
For US$ and GBP£, all orders received prior to 17:00 hrs will be processed same day and will be ready for collection in 4 hrs. Orders after 17:00 will be processed next day. To ensure availability, all other currencies must be ordered a minimum of 48 hours before collection date.

Simply send an email or telephone the ICE desk (‘How do I contact ICE?’) quote your unique reference booking number and state that you wish to cancel your pre-ordered currency.
