Reduced Mobility

Short Term Car Parks

Dublin Airport has more than 90 spaces designated for disabled parking permit holders located in the two main short term car parks.***Please note this promo code is a gauranteed rate that is unlikely to change, we do offer cheaper rates without a promotional code which will still allow you to access the PRM parking spaces.

Terminal 1

50 disabled parking spaces on the lower ground floor of our Terminal 1 Short Term B car park (max. height 1.85m) in front of the Terminal 1 building.

Terminal 2

40 disabled parking spaces between Level 1 and Level 2 of the new Terminal 2 Short Term car park (max height 2.1m) in front of the Terminal 2 building.

These spaces are all well signed and are wheelchair accessible. In addition each space has been treated with a special non slip surface to provide easy movement and access for customers.

To Access Disabled Parking Spaces in Terminal 1 Short Term Block B (Zone 6)

  • Drive to the clearly signed entrance, press the intercom button on the ticket machine, present a valid disabled parking permit and staff will issue a ticket via the machine. A valid disabled parking permit must be presented at the entrance to this car park to access this facility. Parking does not need to be pre-booked.

In both cases these drivers will be able to avail of the special €9.50 per day tariff for disabled drivers.

To Access Disabled Parking Spaces in the Terminal 2 Short Term Car Park

IMPORTANT: Disabled drivers who do not pre-book the Terminal 2 Short Term Car Park can access this car park by pressing the button on the entry machine and taking a ticket. These drivers will not be able to avail of the special parking charges for disabled drivers and will be charged the full short term car park tariff i.e. €40 daily rate.

Please note :  Bookings made less than 6 hours in advance of your car park entry time and date will not be accepted.

Pre-Booking Short Term Car Parks

To pre-book your parking in the Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 Short Term car parks online:

  • Simply fill in a short form (click here) and click Submit. To complete this form, you will require your disabled parking permit details (number and expiry date) and the registration number of the vehicle which you will bring to the car park.
  • Upon submitting this form you will automatically receive a response which will include a Promotion code. This promotion code is required to get the special short term car park daily rate for permit holders (€9.50 per day).*** Please note this promo code is a gauranteed rate that is unlikely to change, we do offer cheaper rates without a promotional code which will still allow you to access the PRM parking spaces.
  • Upon receipt of the promotion code, go to the www.dublinairport.com homepage. Enter your code into the Promotion Code section of the Car Parking Quick Quote form. When you have entered all the relevant detail in the Quick Quote form, click Submit and the appropriate rates for parking will be presented to you.
    Should disabled parking permit holders only require parking for a short period of time, in either of the short term car parks, a rate of €3 for the first hour and €4.50 for the subsequent hours applies – (click here for current short term car park rates).

Short Term Car Park Assistance

DAA has appointed One Complete Solution Ltd (OCS) to provide assistance services to people with reduced mobility upon arriving at either of the two Short Term car parks. Assistance in the Short Term car parks is available at the help points located in or immediately adjacent to the designated parking areas.

Long Term

There is a designated area of disabled parking spaces conveniently located within the Long Term Red car park (no height restriction). These spaces are well signed and are wheelchair accessible. Persons with reduced mobility that have a valid disabled parking permit can avail of the online pre-booking facility for the Long Term Red car park at the lowest available online rate (click here for current long term car park rates).

To pre-book your parking in the Long Term Red car park online:

  • Simply fill in a short form (click here) and click Submit. To complete this form, you will require your disabled parking permit details (number and expiry date) and the registration number of the vehicle which you will bring to the car park.

Long Term Car Park Assistance

Upon arriving at the Long Term Red car park, passengers with reduced mobility who require immediate assistance should contact our Reduced Mobility Service Provider, One Complete Solution Ltd (OCS), via the Reduced Mobility Help Point located within the bus shelter directly adjacent to the disabled parking bay.  The Long Term Red car park is also serviced by a 24/7 wheelchair accessible shuttle bus service, which operates from the bus shelter opposite this designated area to both terminals and from the designated pick up point opposite Terminal 1 (zone 9).
