To & From The Airport

By Car

Dropping off/set down zone

If you intend to drop passengers off for a flight there is a designated set down zone located on the Departures Road outside the terminal building.  This is a set down area ONLY and waiting is NOT permitted.

Unattended cars will be towed away immediately.

Airport Police are in attendance to ensure this policy is strictly enforced.

Picking up passengers

Motorists should use the short term car park when picking up passengers. A special rate of €1.50 for 30 minutes is available to facilitate arriving passenger pick-ups.

Unattended vehicles

For security reasons, vehicles should not be left unattended at any time. Any vehicle left unattended outside a terminal will be either clamped or towed by the airport police. There is a charge of €140 for recovery of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not collected on the day it is removed there is a further €35 charge for each day’s storage.
