Car park facilities for persons with reduced mobility

Short Term

Dublin Airport has more than 50 spaces designated for disabled parking permit holders on the lower ground floor of our short-term B car park (height restriction 1.8m) in front of the terminal building. These spaces are well signed and are wheelchair accessible. In addition each space has been treated with a special non slip surface to provide easy movement and access for customers. A valid disabled parking permit must be presented at the entrance to the Short Term B car park to access these facilities.

It is not necessary for disabled parking permit holders to book parking in the Short Term B car park online - a rate of €9.50 per day, lower than the lowest online daily Short Term rate (click here for current short term car park rates), is available when they present their permit at the Short Term B car park. Should disabled parking permit holders only require parking for a short period of time, a rate of €3 for the first hour and €4.50 for the subsequent hour applies – a rate of €9.50 per day applies thereafter.

Short Term Car Park Assistance
DAA has appointed One Complete Solution Ltd (OCS) to provide assistance services to people with reduced mobility upon arriving at the Short Term B car park. Assistance in the Short Term B car park is available at the following help point locations.

  • Beside the disabled parking area in the Short Term car park, Block B, Level 1.
  • In the Short Term Car Park Atrium, opposite Greencaps.
  • At the lobby doors in the Arrivals Hall, on the right hand wall.
  • Lobby door 1 in the Departures Hall, on the right hand wall.

The help points are blue boxes with an intercom button for communication.

Long Term

There is a designated area of disabled parking spaces conveniently located within the Long Term Red car park (no height restriction). These spaces are well signed and are wheelchair accessible. Persons with reduced mobility that have a valid disabled parking permit can avail of the online pre-booking facility for the Long Term Red car park at the lowest available online rate (click here for current long term car park rates). To pre-book your parking in the Long Term Red car park online:

  1. Simply fill in a short form (click here) and click Submit. To complete this form, you will require your disabled parking permit details (number and expiry date) and the registration number of the vehicle which you will bring to the car park.
  2. Upon submitting this form you will automatically receive a response which will include a Promotion code. This promotion code is required to get the lowest available rate in the Long Term Red car park.
  3. Upon receipt of the promotion code, go to the www.dublinairport.comhomepage. Enter your code into the Promotion Code section of the Car Parking Quick Quote form. When you have entered all the relevant detail in the Quick Quote form, click Submit and the lowest available rate for the Long Term Red car park will be presented to you.

Long Term Car Park Assistance
Upon arriving at the Long Term Red car park, passengers with reduced mobility should press the call button on all entry and exit points in the car park and pay stations and request assistance from PRM service provider - One Complete Solution Ltd (OCS), via DAA car park control. The Long Term Red car park is also serviced by a 24/7 wheelchair accessible shuttle bus service, which operates from the bus shelter opposite this designated area to and from the main passenger terminal.
