It was great fun to facilitate the Junior Achievement Ireland's Futurewize workshop at Beneavin De La Salle College as part of our schools outreach for local communities at Dublin Airport.

Through a host of fun experiments and games, the programme looks at a variety of STEAM subjects and related careers including aviation, aeronautical engineering, chemistry, technology and wellbeing.

A big thank you to Elaine from Junior Achievement Ireland and Ms Skehan and all the brilliant students from Beneavin De La Salle College.

We were also delighted to receive this lovely letter from the school, which show just how much these programmes can benefit one of our local schools.

'We especially want to express our sincere appreciation to Ruan and Janine for generously giving up their time. Hearing the hands-on, real-life experiences at the daa really brought the science to life for the students. .... Their insight into real-life jobs that are completely accessible were particularly engaging, and had the students thinking of so many different avenues that could be related to STEAM after the workshop was over. The workshop has undoubtedly broadened our students' perspective on the possibilities within science and potential career paths. It's wonderful to see them thinking outside the box and making connections to the real world.' - Beneavin De La Salle College, Finglas
