Dublin Airport handled over 20.5 million passengers in 2009. The Airport is ranked 10th busiest in Europe for international passenger traffic and 17th in the world*. During the year 11 new services were launched of which 4 were to totally new airports. The airport served over 185 routes with 60 airlines for the year. Dublin Airport offers a great choice of destinations, with services to 27 airports in the UK and a European network covering over 100 airports. The long-haul network at Dublin Airport provides a good choice of destinations, with 12 scheduled services to North America with many of these destinations offering great connections for further travel within the US. The Airport also serves Agadir in North Africa with the Middle East served by Adu Dhabi.
