Passenger throughput at Dublin Airport exceeded 1.9 million for October, a -1.5% decrease over the same period last year according to the Dublin Airport Authority.
Passenger volumes to/from continental Europe declined by -1.8% with over 979,000 passengers travelling to European destinations.
UK traffic was static at over 750,000 passengers.
The number of passengers travelling on domestic routes declined by almost -7.5% to just over 74,000 passengers. Passenger volumes to/from North America declined by -3.2% with more than 150,000 passengers travelling on this sector during October.
Other international passenger traffic to the Middle-East (Abu Dhabi), Northern Africa (Sharm El Sheik) and South Africa (Capetown) rose by 9.3% with over 22,000 passengers travelling to those destinations.
