More than 1.5 million passengers travel through Dublin Airport in November

Passenger throughput at Dublin Airport exceeded 1.5
million for the month of November, an 8% decrease over the same period last year
according to the Dublin Airport Authority.
Passenger volumes to
and from continental Europe fell by 9% with more than 680,000 passengers
travelling to European destinations.
UK traffic recorded a decrease
of 6% with just over 650,000 passengers travelling in November.
The
number of passengers travelling on domestic routes declined by14% to just over
68,000 passengers. Passenger volumes to and from North America were
down by 13% with just over 150,000 passengers travelling on this sector during
November.
Other international passenger traffic to the Middle-East
(Abu Dhabi), Northern Africa (Sharm El Sheik) and South Africa (Capetown)
decreased by 20% with 16,000 passengers travelling to those destinations.
