The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner makes its first official visit to Dublin Airport later this week.
The Dreamliner will be in Dublin from Wednesday to Friday as part of what Boeing has called the 787 Dream Tour.
The aircraft is due to arrive at Dublin Airport at about 9pm this Wednesday, January 25 and is scheduled to depart from Dublin at about 3pm on Friday, January 27. The Dreamliner will be parked in an airside hangar during the visit and there will be no public access to the aircraft.
The visit coincides with the 14th European Airfinance Conference, which is being held in Dublin. Boeing is bringing the Dreamliner to Ireland to showcase it to potential airline customers and leasing companies.
The Dream Tour aircraft that will touch down in Dublin, ZA003, is fitted with the 787's special cabin features, including a welcoming entryway, dramatically larger dimmable windows, bigger bins and dynamic LED lighting. It also has a luxurious business-class cabin, an overhead crew rest compartment and an economy class section.
