This competition is organised by Dublin Airport, part of daa plc. The competition will run across Dublin Airport’s official X, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. The entry mechanism is outlined in the relevant competition post. One winner will be selected at random after 3PM on Friday, 9th May 2025. Win two return flights from Dublin Airport to Detroit with Delta Airlines, plus four nights’ accommodation and attraction passes with Visit Detroit.  

Prize Details 

  • Prize includes two return flights from Dublin Airport to Detroit with Delta Airlines, four nights’ accommodation, and some ground attractions with Visit Detroit. 

  • Additional taxes, fees, surcharges, inspection and security fees may apply. Any tax liability or other government-imposed fees are the responsibility of the user. 

  • Tickets will be issued in the winner’s name and their nominated travel companion. 

  • Travel must commence and be completed by 31st May 2026 with no further extensions. 

  • Bookings must be made at least six weeks prior to travel. 

  • Travel is restricted during peak seasons: the voucher may not be used for travel over Bank/Public Holiday weekends or School Mid-Term holiday periods in 2025/26. 

  • Reservations must be made and tickets issued prior to departure, with tickets issued within 24 hours of making a reservation. Reservations made via delta.com must be ticketed at the time of reservation. 

  • The number of seats available for this offer is limited. Certificates must be redeemed and tickets issued by 6th April 2026. No extensions will be granted. 

  • Stopovers, open segments and waitlisting are not permitted. Single legal open-jaw itineraries are allowed; circle or double open-jaw trips are not permitted. 

  • Stopovers exceeding 4 hours for domestic travel or 24 hours for transoceanic travel are not permitted. 

  • Travel must be via Delta Airlines’ published routings and fares for the permitted travel area. Non-Delta operated flights are only valid for Transatlantic travel between the US/Canada/Mexico and Europe/Middle East/Africa. Travel is not permitted to or from Russia, Turkey, or Mongolia. 

  • Travel schedules are subject to change without notice. No denied boarding compensation will be paid. 

  • The certificate is transferable only if it is not associated with an individual's name. If named, the original recipient must travel. 

  • Certificates cannot be transferred for cash or consideration. Purchased or auctioned certificates are void. 

  • Once ticketed, tickets are non-refundable after the risk-free cancelation period. 

  • Changes are permitted free of charge if the new itinerary meets all program provisions. 

  • Standard baggage fees apply and are the responsibility of the passenger. 

  • Upgrades may be purchased using credit card or miles; certificate-based upgrades are not permitted. 

  • This certificate may not be combined with any discounts, promotions, or special fares. Only travel on a single marketing carrier per direction is permitted. 

  • Each certificate is valid for one ticket only, has zero cash value, and will be deemed fully used upon surrender. 

  • Lost certificates will not be replaced. Use of certificates for resale or travel services business purposes is prohibited and will render them void. 

  • SkyMiles mileage credit will not be awarded for travel using this certificate. 

  • Once issued, ticket validity is limited as per Delta Airlines’ Contract of Carriage. 

  • Certificates cannot be used with miscellaneous charge orders, travel vouchers, gift certificates, or prepaid tickets. Tickets by mail are permitted (a paper ticket fee applies). 

  • Delta Airlines is the final authority on all interpretations of the certificate terms and conditions and may change them without notice. 

Ground Arrangements – Visit Detroit  

  • Prize includes four nights' accommodation for two people in a 3* or 4* central downtown Detroit hotel and access to some local attractions. 

  • All ground arrangements are subject to availability at the time of booking and must be made at least six weeks prior to travel. 

  • Ground travel during Bank/Public Holiday weekends or School Mid-Term holidays in 2025/26 is restricted. 

  • Vouchers for accommodation and attractions are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-redeemable for cash or other goods/services. 

  • Meals and refreshments during travel and in country is the sole responsibility of the prize-winner and the organisers will not accept liability for costs beyond flights, accommodation. 

  • Cellet Marketing and Public Relations Ltd. will not be responsible for insurance, visas or any additional expenses relating to your flight/ holiday   

  • All ground arrangements will be issued in the winner’s name and their nominated travel companion.  

  • Ground arrangements are subject to change or cancellation by Cellet Marketing and Public Relations Ltd. without prior notice. 

  • All ground arrangement bookings must match the Delta Airlines flight bookings same flights, dates, and times. 

  • Ground arrangement vouchers and tickets are not refundable or upgradeable. 

  • Cellet Marketing and Public Relations Ltd. is not responsible for costs incurred due to delay, cancellation, or disruption of service. 

  • Any income tax liability incurred is the responsibility of the passenger. 

General Competition Terms 

  • Entrants must live in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland and be aged 18 or older. 

  • Employees of Dublin Airport, Delta Airlines, or Cellet Marketing and Public Relations Ltd., and their immediate families or household members, are not eligible to enter. 

  • Finalists will be selected from valid competition entries. 

  • One winner will be selected and contacted via the method outlined in the competition post. 

  • The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity materials related to the competition. 

  • Dublin Airport will only use personal data provided for the sole purpose of administering this competition. Personal data will not be stored, retained, or shared once the winner is confirmed. 

  • Dublin Airport accepts no responsibility for entries not received, incomplete, delayed, or corrupted due to technical or system issues. 

  • Dublin Airport reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition at any stage if deemed necessary or due to circumstances beyond its control. 

  • Dublin Airport accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury suffered by the winner or travel companion as a result of accepting or participating in the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. 

  • Entry into the competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. 

  • Dublin Airport’s decision is final concerning all competition matters and these Terms and Conditions.
