The first construction package for North Runway is well underway and work continues on the realignment of Forrest Little Road and its new junction with Forrest Road.
An application has been made to Fingal County Council for permission to temporarily close Forrest Little Road, as indicated on the map below, from 10.00 pm on Friday, June, 23 to 6.00 am on Monday, June, 26, 2017. The closure is essential in order to enable the construction of a large culvert, along with other services crossing Forrest Little Road.
We are specifically seeking the temporary closure during this period, following extensive consultation with Fingal County Council’s Planners and Traffic/Operations, in order to limit the impact on road users to the weekend only and to avoid heavier traffic volumes during the working week.
All necessary traffic management measures will be in place to ensure the safety of staff and the public, and to reduce the impact on road users as much as possible.
