Business Working Responsibly Mark
daa is delighted to have achieved the Business Working Responsibly Mark, a key milestone in our journey of continuous EESG improvement.
Established in 2010 by Business in the Community Ireland and audited by the NSAI, the Business Working Responsibly Mark (‘the Mark’) is the leading standard for sustainability that fosters a culture of continuous improvement, ongoing accountability and leadership.
On being certified with the Business Working Responsibly Mark, Kenny Jacobs, CEO of daa said:
“Being certified with this Mark represents a significant milestone for daa and reflects our commitment to doing the right thing for our customers, colleagues and communities. Our aim is for sustainability to run through every strand of our business strategy and we are proud that our approach has been validated against an objective set of standards. We are continually looking at ways we can reduce the impact on society of all of the businesses within daa as we strive to become a Net Zero business by 2050 at the latest."
Media Sales Team
The Media Sales Team won two awards at the Media Awards 2023, which celebrate the talent behind strategic and creative thinking, as well as implementation that generates impact and business success. The team won the Gold award for Best Sales Initiative for their campaign, "The Good Times are Virtually Coming", and the Bronze award for Best Collaboration between Agency (PHD & PML Group) and Media Owner for growing Diageo’s brand presence at Dublin Airport.
Leonard Miller, Head of Media Sales, expressed his pride in the team's achievement, saying:

The Platinum Services Team at Dublin Airport also had cause for celebration as they won two Gold awards for Best Customer Service and CX Team of the Year, as well as a Bronze award for Business Change and Transformation at the International Customer Experience Awards 2021. The awards celebrate the inspiring efforts of global organizations in customer experience and provide recognition, learning, and networking opportunities for the industry.
