Cycling & Walking
In line with the Department Of Transport's 2022 ‘Sustainable Mobility Guidelines’, daa has achieved European Cycle Friendly Airport Accreditation.
Dublin Airport cycle routes and parking
Dublin Airport has considerable existing cycle lanes and infrastructure. The map below sets out the existing layout and route options. There is a designated public cycle parking area in the Multi Storey Car Park Area A.
We recommend entering from the main T1 car park atrium area, where the Wrights Food Fayre is.

Walking
We have created new route maps to show you how to get around Dublin Airport on foot or by bicycle that pinpoint key landmarks. Walking is a great, easy way to do your body good, aiding heart health, weight loss and a general feeling of energy and wellbeing.
Excellent facilities are in place, paths and crossing signals, to allow people take a stroll to the terminals when visiting Dublin Airport.
For enquiries regarding active travel modes at the airport, please email SustainableMobility@dublinairport.com
Disclaimer:
daa would ask that you please ensure that all cycles are left in designated locations.
Cycles are left entirely at your own risk and daa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to cycles or
equipment left on site.
If you leave your cycle at the airport cycle parking facility, we recommend that you take appropriate security precautions:
· Use a good quality lock (e.g. D-shackle or multi-braided cable with
“Sold Secure” or similar rating).
· Lock both wheels and the frame to the bike stand. Ideally use more than one lock.
· Take removable parts with you where possible.
Details of Airport staff cycle parking areas are available to airport employees by emailing SustainableMobility@dublinairport.com
