


Preparing Your Pet
Whether you're relocating or heading off on holiday with your pet, here's everything you need to know about travelling with animals from Dublin Airport
Your pet must travel in a secure, leak-proof and well-ventilated crate. The enclosure must not exceed:
Height: 950mm
Width: 950mm
Length: 2m
The crate should allow your pet to move comfortably and lie down. Assistance animals may follow different rules. Check with your airline for specific details. Be sure to give yourself some extra time at check-in when travelling with pets.
Check With Your Airline
Every airline has its own rules when it comes to pet travel. Some will only accept assistance animals like guide dogs, while others may allow pets either in the cabin or the hold.

If you're flying overseas, your pet may require:
A valid pet passport
A microchip
Relevant vaccinations
A veterinary health certificate
