As the countdown to St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations continues, Dublin Airport has announced it is partnering with St. Patrick’s Festival in the rollout of a series of family friendly events and performances in Dublin city centre over the coming festival weekend.

The eagerly anticipated National St. Patrick’s Day Parade will once again fill the streets of Dublin on March 17, with more than half-a-million spectators expected to join the celebrations.

The events, including music, artistic performances and much more, will once again take place in the Festival Quarter at the National Museum of Ireland on March 16 to 17.

Dublin Airport will proudly sponsor Festival Quarter's entertainment and activities, ensuring a lively programme made up of live music, street theatre, interactive games, and more.

This year’s festival theme of 'Spréach' embodies a message of unity and welcome, inviting locals and visitors alike to join in the festivities.

Richard Tierney, CEO of St. Patrick’s Festival, outlined his delight at the continued collaboration with Dublin Airport, saying: "We are delighted to continue our collaboration with our longstanding partner Dublin Airport and to have them onboard as a Programme Partner. Dublin Airport’s partnership with St. Patrick's Festival Quarter plays an integral part in celebrating and nurturing the incredible wealth of talent and creativity that Ireland has to offer.

"For our visitors from overseas that travel by air to enjoy the celebrations, Dublin Airport is the first point of 'Fáilte' they encounter when they arrive. We are thrilled that our partnership with Dublin Airport brings home that message of unity, as well as supporting our arts and culture communities.”

Gary McLean, Managing Director of Dublin Airport, echoed Tierney's sentiments, emphasising the airport's pride in once again partnering with St. Patrick’s Festival.

McLean said, "St. Patrick's Day will see the eyes of the world focused on Ireland and Dublin Airport is proud to once again be partnering with St. Patrick’s Festival for what will be a fantastic week of family-friendly fun and entertainment. We are confident in the Dublin Airport team's ability to deliver a smooth and pleasant airport experience to passengers traveling to Ireland for the St. Patrick's Festival."

As part of the exciting partnership with St. Patricks Festival, Dublin Airport is celebrating with a series of giveaways including VIP tickets for two to the festival Grandstand on O’Connell Street, followed by lunch at The Chocolate Factory.

They also have five pairs of tickets to ‘Mother presents Cultúr Club’ at the Festival Quarter on Saturday March 16, 2024 to give away.
